Fall Gala 2019

The Coalition for Healthy School Food (CHSF) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit that introduces plant-based foods and nutrition education in schools to educate the whole school community about the health, environmental, and social justice issues of our food choices. We depend on your support to provide services to schools that can not pay. It's not just the kids we educate. Over and over again, teachers and parents wonder why they've never heard the information we are giving them. Our message is simple and it is clear. We are largely in charge of our own health destiny, and the more whole plant foods we eat, the healthier we'll be. We work with schools to change their menus, and for the parents, teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and food service personnel, we share recipes, have family dinner nights with cooking demos, talks by medical professionals, and more to help people create real change at home.
